DUE to an unfortunate injury to J.NORMAN POWELL
leader of the STARS & STRIPES CONCERT BAND the
HEARTLAND BRASS ENSEMBLE will be assuming
some of the concerts regularly performed by the
STARS & STRIPES CONCERT BAND .
This situation will continue until Norman recovers and is able to resume with the concerts. In the
time members of the STARS & STRIPES CONCERT BAND will be invited to join the HEARTLAND BRASS ENSEMBLE in preforming those concerts that would have been done by the STARS & STRIPES CONCERT BAND.
The HEARTLAND BRASS ENSEMBLE will contiue to maintain its separate identity from the
STARS & STRIPES CONCERT BAND except on those
occasion during which the two groups perform togther.
The HEARTLAND BRASS ENSEMBLE
will also continue to (1) prepare a wide variety of
musical numbers for public performances and (2)
present a high quality of music for its listeners .
